Education

Degree in Engineering or MCA from recognized University. Courses and certifications in SAP ABAP and S/4 HANA ABAP is added advantage.

Technical Skills

Candidate should have strong technical knowledge and skills in the following areas. He should be fully hands on and perform the activities by himself.

  • Expertise in Data Dictionary, Dialogue programing, Reports (Classical, Interactive and ALV)
  • Dialogue programing using Screen paints/menu painter, module pool programing using Grid control and Table control.
  • Development of Forms using SAP Scripts, Smart Forms, Adobe PDF Form.
  • Expertise in Data Transfer and conversion tools like BDC, LSMW and RFC’s.
  • Performance enhancements of Applications using user exits and BADI’s
  • Experience in cross functional area BAPI’s
  • Good knowledge of Master Data Management.
  • Knowledge of Web Dympro, Work Flows, Web services, CDS views and Development of Enterprise portal. 
  • IN Bound /OUT Bound IDOC processing, Monitor and error handling using WERP & BD87.
  • Knowledge of BRF+ Output Management in S/4 HANA and knowledge of Data migration cockpit and Data migration in S/4 HANA 2020.
  • Preparation of FS (Functional specifications) in the absence of Functional consultant. Very Good at converting to TS.

Knowledge of Fiori, Enterprise portal development, S/4 HANA Embedded Analytics will be an added advantage.

Experience

6-7 years of related experience of which minimum 2 years should be in S/4 HANA environment in Manufacturing Organization.

Job Description

Responsible for:

  • Maintenance, Support, trouble shooting and Performance monitoring of all existing developments consisting of Reports, Work flows, user exits, SAM messages, etc.
  • Take all developments forward for S/4 HANA conversion and paly a key role during conversion of existing SAP system to S/4 HANA.

The ideal candidate should have strong leadership skills and should be able to handle the responsibility of ABAP Technical requirements.

Language

Fluent in English speaking is a must. Good at communication and presentation

Candidate should have done 2 to 3 end to end Life Cycle implementation Projects and 1 or 2 support Projects. He should be fully hands on with System configuration, Maintenance, enhancements and Support of respective module. He should be able to discuss with Business process owners, understand their requirements and prepare Functional specifications and co-ordinate with ABAP programmer in development of reports and Queries. Preference will be given to candidates who have multi module experience and can handle 2 or 3 additional modules along with their core module. S/4 HANA, Cross functional and Cement industry experience is added advantage.

Experience

5-6 years of SAP implementation and Support. Preference will be given to candidates who have domain experience.

Assist Business Head and Core Team members in their day to day operations and meeting their information/reporting needs. Introduction of new business processes and controlling mechanisms as per the business needs of the organization. Co-ordinate with users to ensure that the month end, Quarter end and Year end activities are carried out properly and timely. Preparation of training manuals and training of end users for smooth functioning of the module.

Language

Fluent in English is a must. Arabic is added advantage. Good at communication and presentation.

  • Installation, Configuration and upgradation of Operating systems, SAP software’s, Backup software’s, Antivirus Software’s, Email systems, Websites, Web Services, etc.
  • Performance monitoring and troubleshooting of all Hardware’s like Servers, Storage, Tape Library, clusters, SAN setup, etc. Exposure to S/4 HANA will be added advantage.
  • Set up and monitoring of Exchange mailing system, VPN and Domain configuration.
  • Knowledge of Data Base Administration, Trouble shooting and resolving of data base performance issues, fine tuning, etc.
  • Monitor, maintain and support of Primary Data Center and DR (Disaster Recovery center). Knowledge of Data replication software’s, etc.
  • Documentation of Policies and Procedures for usage of Hardware, Software’s, Securities, Backup, etc..

Knowledge in Network monitoring and troubleshooting will be an added advantage

Experience

6-7 years of related experience of which minimum 2 years should be in a similar position / responsibility, preferably SAP S/4 HANA environment in Manufacturing Organization.

  • Maintenance, Support, trouble shooting and Performance monitoring of all Servers, storage and tape library at both Primary and DR sites.
  • Installation, configuration, maintenance, support and upgradation of all software’s.
  • Responsible for scheduling and monitoring of backups.
  • Maintain and support mailing system, VPN and Domains.
  • Ensure that the Hardware and Software’s are up running 24×7 to support business.
  • Evaluate and deploy new hardware, software and technology solutions for business needs and technology upgradation.
  • Prepare RFP’s and make purchase recommendations to the Head of ERP and IT.
  • Assist ERP and IT Head   in preparing Budgets and in day to day activities related to Hardware, Software and technology up gradation.

The ideal candidate should have strong leadership skills and should be able to handle the responsibility for supervising, maintenance and support of IT infrastructure.

  • Ensure that the IT systems, Networking, Data center, IT Infrastructure are fully secured from the point of view of Hacking, Intrusions, Preventions, Data theft, Access controls, etc. and align to the Cyber security laws of Qatar. Conduct regular security drills and plug the issues. Documentation of policies and procedures is a part of the responsibility.

The ideal candidate should have strong leadership and driving skills. He should be good at preparing IT Security Policy and procedures documents and deploying them across the organization.
